February

- Amy learned that she wouldn't be attending the Grammy Awards due to her visa being turned down by the US Embassy.

-Amy won 5 Grammy Awards for Record of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Performance - Female and Song of the Year (awarded to the songwriter) ("Rehab"), Best Pop Vocal Album (Back To Black), and Best New Artist, and was nominated for Album of the Year (Back To Black). Amy performed at the ceremony via satellite.

- Back To Black was certified 2x platinum.
